Jo's Help Welcomes You
Providing Support Where It's Needed

Jo's Story
Jo Martin was a devoted teacher, a caring friend, a loving mother and grandmother, but most of all she selflessly served others. She loved bringing things to life in her garden, spending time with her family, and was an active member in her community of Gray, Georgia. Jo lit up every room she walked in and never let anything slow her down. After her diagnosis with esophageal cancer, however, she required the assistance of her family. Even though Jo lost her battle, she would want to do everything in her power to make sure other cancer patients have the same support system that she did. The Martin family founded Jo’s Help to do just that. Jo’s memory lives on through our work of using all funds raised towards the assistance and personal needs of both cancer patients and survivors local to the Central Georgia area.
Our Mission
What We Do
Jo's Help is a not-for-profit family-oriented, charitable organization that aims to raise funds and create a volunteer network to provide personal and financial support to both cancer patients, survivors and their families in the Middle Georgia area.
Our Projects
At Jo's Help, our goal is to aid patients and survivors through a variety of means. Whether it's providing transportation to and from appointments or assisting with in-home care; we wish to provide support where it's needed. We also provide information to help navigate the financial side of medical treatment. Additionally, we're always looking for eager volunteers with big hearts and positive attitudes.
